Teachers give so much all year long, so this August, Moody Gardens is giving back. Throughout the month, every Pre-K through 12 educator with a valid school-issued teacher ID can visit Moody Gardens completely free, with the option to bring along up to six guests at a friendly discounted rate. It's our way of saying thank you to the people shaping our kids' futures, one lesson at a time.
From Aug. 1-31, 2026, any Pre-K through 12 teacher who shows a valid teacher ID at the Moody Gardens Visitor Center Ticket Counter will receive one free One-Day Value Pass. That pass unlocks access to nearly all of Moody Gardens' most beloved attractions, including the Rainforest Pyramid, Aquarium Pyramid, Discovery Pyramid, Dinos Alive!, SKELETOWN, the Audience Recognition Theater, 3D Theater, 4D Theater, Palm Beach, and the Ropes Course and Zip Line. It's a full day of exploring, learning, and unwinding before the new school year kicks into gear.
Teachers don't have to enjoy the day alone. Up to six additional guests visiting in the same party on the same day can join in with a One-Day Value Pass of their own for just $45 per person, plus tax. Whether it's family, friends, or fellow teachers, this makes it easy to turn a well-deserved day off into a memorable outing for everyone.
