Nestled amidst breathtaking natural surroundings, Moody Gardens offers a perfect blend of relaxation and excitement for guests of all ages for work or play. From tropical rainforests to the oceans of the world, a wide range of attractions, educational activities, kid's events, dining options, and exciting entertainment await. This island resort uniquely accommodates large conferences, weddings and social events as well as being the romantic escape and family destination where special memories are created.

Moody Gardens marks its 25th holiday season with Holiday in The Gardens, running nightly from November 21, 2026 through January 2, 2027.
Walk the mile-long Holiday Lights Trail, strung with more than two million lights and scenes set to holiday music, then step into ICE LAND: Caribbean Christmas, where master ice carvers turn 2 million pounds of ice into an undersea Gulf Coast journey, complete with Shiver's Ice Bar.
Lace up for evening ice skating, take a run down the Arctic Slide, ride the Kiddie Train along a stretch of the lights, and catch holiday favorites including Rudolph 4D and Scrooge 4D: A Christmas Carol in the 3D and 4D theaters. The new live show A Very Electric Christmas from Lightwire Theater brings a glow-in-the-dark journey to the stage, and every show ticket includes Holiday Lights Trail admission.
Round out the visit with festive holiday dining, Breakfast with Santa on select December mornings, and hotel packages that put ICE LAND and the Holiday Lights Trail steps from the door. Moody Gardens Hotel has been refreshed top to bottom for the season.
Dress warmly for outdoor areas including ICE LAND and the Holiday Lights Trail. Height requirements apply to the Arctic Slide (36 inches) and Kiddie Train (under 48 inches).
attVitality is your ability to refresh and renew yourself in body and mind, and the practices of hatha yoga were designed from the very start to support and enhance it. This retreat weekend with Doug Keller balances a learning component with manageable, refreshing, and insightful practice.
Each session focuses on an area of the body, starting with insights into how that area works, the challenges we commonly face there, and how to use your practice to find greater freedom, strength, and ease, both on and off the mat. The retreat runs Friday evening through Sunday midday, with the first session at 7:00 pm Friday and checkout at 2:00 pm Sunday. Hotel packages and the full weekend schedule are on the retreat page.
